While Genshin Impact dives into Version 4.2, leaks about the upcoming 4.3 update have already begun to surface. The much-anticipated Version 4.3 update promises not only the banner debut of the beloved president of the Spina di Rosula and mysterious 4-star character but also the introduction of a talented Inazuman fashion designer now residing in Fontaine.

Genshin Impact Impact Version 4.2 brought a host of exciting new Fontaine content to the game. From a majestic new Weekly Boss, unique Ascension materials, and the first banner of the beloved Hydro Archon. While the conclusion of the gripping Fontaine Archon Quest storyline in Version 4.2 means that patches from Version 4.3 onwards are what the community dubs as "filler patches", there are still plenty of exciting quests and events to look forward to!

Genshin Impact 4.3 banners

According to reputable Genshin Impact leakers such as UncleYC and kuroo, it’s highly likely that Navia will make her banner debut in Version 4.3.

A recent leak from Uncle Chicken suggests that Navia will probably be the only new 5-star character, setting the stage for exciting rerun banners featuring the formidable vessel of the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun, the intrepid leader of the Arataki Gang, Arataki Itto, and the brilliant alchemist of the Knights of Favonius, Albedo.

Genshin players can't wait to pull for Navia, not only because of her gorgeous character design and her heroic involvement in the Fontaine Archon Quest, but also due to the fact that she will be the first Geo character to appear in the game in over 500 days. It is only fitting that her banner will be surrounded by fellow Geo characters!

Another Fontainian, known as Chevreuse, will be introduced as a 4-star unit in Version 4.3. Among the 18 Fontaine characters slated for release, Chevreuse has yet to make an appearance in the game. She is expected to play a big role in the Version 4.3 main event.

Genshin Impact 4.3: What to expect

Version 4.2 brought the final act of the Fontaine Archon Quest, culminating in a melancholic and grand final “trial” that revealed the secrets lurking beneath the waters.

As such, subsequent patches from Version 4.3 onward are considered "filler patches," as termed by the Genshin Impact community, bridging the gap until the release of the next nation, the land of Pyro, Nathan. Despite this, HoYoverse has exciting plans for the remaining part of the Fontaine cycle, offering a plethora of quests and events to anticipate!

In addition to the highly awaited debut of Navia and Chevreuse, along with rerun banners, Genshin leaker Genshin_Intel has shared an overview for 4.3:

  • Navia, Chevreuse
  • Two new artifact sets
  • Film Festival event featuring Furina, Yoimiya, Ayaka, Ayato
  • Battle event with two parties per stage
  • Beetle Battle v2
  • Lost Riches, new seelie
  • Liben
  • QoL with artifacts leveling
